Lady Gaga releases new "You and I" short, this one about her mermaid alter-ego Yüyi.

Lady Gaga is taking herfish out of water routine to a whole new level.

In a new fashion short the singer reprises the role of her mermaid alter-ego Yüyi, which appears in her "You and I" music video.

The two-and-ahalf-minute clip, directed by fashion photographers Inez and Vinoodh, is the third of six behind-the-scene videos Gaga has created in conjuction with her latest single. The previous two highlighted her Nymph and Bride characters rom "You and I".

In this one, Gaga -- sporting gills on her neck and shoulders -- squirms around in a director`s chair wrapped in seaweed and smoking a cigarette.
